I have an Masters degree in Counseling Psychology with Addiction Specialization from Lewis & Clark College and am trained in clinical supervision as well. I have extensive successful experience working with chemical and behavioral addictions, particularly using DBT. I have training in Gestalt therapy and use Gestalt experiential work in my practice. I also have EMDR training and use EMDR frequently in working with patients. In the past I worked as a teacher and ESL / Bilingual Education Coordinator in Alaska. I also worked in the Women's Resource Center in Anchorage Alaska as Skills Trainer. I have a BA from the University of California at San Diego.

I am skilled in DBT; Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); mind/body therapy using breath, movement, and visualization; Active Imagination; and Prolonged Exposure therapy.
